Let our mouth speak good things ONLY!

Posted on March 9, 2014 at 11:49 AM

What do we speak with our mouth?
Do our mouth speak blessing or curses?
Do our mouth speak "war or peace"?
Do we gossip or hide other people's mistake?
Do our mouth speak good or evil?
Do we share the word of God to others with our mouth?

King James Version:
"A good man out of the good treasure of the
heart bringeth forth good things:
and an evil man out of the evil treasure
bringeth forth evil things.
But I say unto you,
That every idle word that men shall speak,
they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified,
and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
Matthew 12:35-37 (King James Version)

"A good man out of the good treasure of his
heart bringeth forth that which is good;
and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his
heart bringeth forth that which is evil:
for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh."
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord,
and do not the things which I say?
Luke 6:45-46 (King James Version)

"Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing.
My brethren, these things ought not so to be."
James 3:10 (King James Version)

New English Translation:
"The good person brings good things
out of his good treasury,
and the evil person brings evil things
out of his evil treasury.
I tell you that on the day of judgment,
people will give an account
for every worthless word they speak.
For by your words you will be justified,
and by your words you will be condemned.”
Matthew 12:35-37 (New English Translation)

"The good person out of the good treasury
of his heart produces good,
and the evil person out of his evil treasury produces evil,
for his mouth speaks from what fills his heart."
“Why do you call me ‘Lord,
Lord,’ and don’t do what I tell you?"
Luke 6:45-46 (New English Translation)

"From the same mouth come blessing and cursing.
These things should not be so, my brothers and sisters."
James 3:10 (New English Translation)

Young's Literal Translation:
"The good man out of the good treasure of
the heart doth put forth the good things,
and the evil man out of the evil treasure
doth put forth evil things.
`And I say to you,
that every idle word that men may speak,
they shall give for it a reckoning in a day of judgment;
for from thy words thou shalt be declared righteous,
and from thy words thou shalt be declared unrighteous.'
Matthew 12:35-37 (Young's Literal Translation)

The good man out of the good treasure of
his heart doth bring forth that which [is] good;
and the evil man out of the evil treasure of
his heart doth bring forth that which [is] evil;
for out of the abounding of the
heart doth his mouth speak.
`And why do ye call me,
Lord, Lord, and do not what I say?
Luke 6:45-46 (Young's Literal Translation)

"out of the same mouth doth
come forth blessing and cursing; it doth not need,
my brethren, these things so to happen;"
James 3:10 (Young's Literal Translation)

Brothers and sisters in Christ,
let us speak good things ONLY!
God bless you and keep you safe.
